These are the first karaoke mics I have ever owned, so I cannot compare them to others, but they work pretty good. I had an old mixer, so I plugged them into that for the EQ and it helps a lot. I also plugged my Smart TV into the mixer with the headphone out jack to EQ that. With Youtube, you can find any karaoke you want. For speakers, I use studio speakers from my recording studio with stands, so this gives me a pretty professional karaoke room. It goes as loud and sounds as good as a room rental. The entire setup was about $600 for everything, but it will give me years of enjoyment, much cheaper than renting a room each time.

Bought this for our church. Very reliable and allows individual gain adjustment. Very handy if you have one bad singer in the group :( . They have worked reliably for several months now, but batteries need to be changed after about 8 hours of use (2 AA each)
